An asteroid will pass by Earth / At the weekend
An asteroid believed to be the size of six football fields will pass by Earth on Saturday.
Asteroid named ‘2002 NN4’ will fly very close to our planet this weekend at 11:20 a.m., NASA says
With a diameter of 0.6 km, the celestial object may look like a danger, but according to the Center for Near Earth Object Studies, it presents no problem for us.
This is because the asteroid is believed to be 50 million km away from our planet, 13 times farther than the Moon.
The next time this asteroid will be near us again is June 2029.
