Feeling tired? Here’s what you should do every morning to have more energy

If you’ve been feeling drained and tired lately, you’re not alone. Even when you have slept a lot, you may feel weak in your body. Here are some tips to help you get more energy during the day.

1. First thing in the morning, manage your breathing. Simply closing your eyes and focusing on your breathing can be an effective way to slow down and start your day more relaxed.

2. Hydrate yourself. Many experts say to drink a glass of water as soon as you open your eyes in the morning, even if you are not thirsty. Coffee counts too, but make sure you get enough water too.

3. Exercise. It’s hard to find the motivation to exercise in the morning. But people who do tend to be more active throughout the day.

4. Make sure you are eating enough. A breakfast rich in protein and healthy fats can help maintain energy levels throughout the day.

5. Ignore your phone. When you check your phone or email directly, you’re letting someone else dictate the start of your day. And boundaries are important.
