Halloween party in Albania
The Halloween holiday is a day when in the 600s BC, the Celtic people with Druid faith dedicated Samhain to death, but over time it turned into a holiday, where scary costumes and pumpkins are a symbol of this date.
And while the world celebrates Halloween, we remember that in Albania we celebrated a holiday almost similar to it, like that of carnivals.
Besides the carnivals of Shkodra and Korça, etc., we also have carnivals in Tirana. Below we are showing a photograph from 1922 taken during the carnival celebration in Tirana.
