How to prevent a heart attack

Read Time:1 Minute, 51 Second

Stress, diets, diabetes, weight are among the main factors that cause heart attacks and pre-heart attacks

But how can we face this disease and what are the most necessary advices that should be followed by affected patients. Pre-infarction and infarction are, so to speak, two stages of the same disease. Both of these are caused by the blockage of the artery that supplies the part of the muscle, which is affected by the infarction and pre-infarction. The latter is “suffering” of the heart muscle, which in medical language is called myocardial ischemia, that is, when it is not supplied with the right amount of blood and oxygen. But if this suffering is interrupted for a period of time from 30 minutes to 2 hours, where the patient is directed to a coronary care center, then this muscle is saved and returns to normal. This is pre-infarction or myocardial ischemia. And in cases where medical help is not given within this time interval, then this ischemia or pre-infarction will turn into a heart attack. Scientifically, a heart attack is the death of heart muscle cells, necrosis, which occurs in that part, which is deprived by the blockage of the responsible artery, which supplies blood and oxygen.

Warning signs of heart attack

This is not a disease that develops quickly, it is a disease that starts long ago, for years and at a certain moment it appears. Initially, the first signs are pain while walking, pain which is increasing. These signs warn the person to carry out checks and prevent the disease. But there are also cases where the first sign of the disease is a heart attack, or even when death occurs before the heart attack, from a fatal arrhythmia that the person may suffer when the heart attack begins.

What I would say is that not all chest pains are heart pains. In general, heart pains are localized in the middle part of the chest, they can go to the throat, lower jaw, spread to the shoulders. Likewise, they can spread to the left or even the right arm, it is not at all said, up to the last two fingers of the hand.
