Different colors have different impacts on the human brain. Red is said to bring appetite and is known as the color of the kitchen. Green has a calming effect and dominates living rooms.
What about the bedroom? Blue, blue doesn’t matter, just play with shades of blue.
This is not guesswork but what science says.
A Travelodge study concluded that blue can have a real impact on sleep quality.
The researchers found that out of thousands of respondents, people who slept in rooms painted in shades of blue were more restful overall, compared to those who slept in a room painted in earth tones.
The calming effect of blue, says Chris Idzikowski of the Edinburgh Sleep Centre, is linked to specialized receptors called ganglion cells in the retina part of our eyes, which are more sensitive to the color blue.
Another scientific study has concluded that white sheets fight stress, anxiety or insomnia. It is enough to put white sheets on your bed, paint the walls blue and this will directly affect your psychosis.
