“Dreamers and concreters”

This is how great creators have been described by John Byrne, who has published the classification of the 12 greatest entrepreneurs of our time in “Fortune Magazine”.

This list is headed by the creator of Apple, Steve Jobs, who always has rejected focus groups and market research. In second place is his rival, Bill Gates, who at Microsoft always repeats the same idea: “Discover incredibly smart people to build small teams”.

But the classification of the American magazine is not without surprises. “Oprah Winfrey has created an addiction in the world of media and Anita Roddick of the Body Shop, Byrne explains, has demonstrated that it is possible to produce socially and environmentally responsible products, but they have not changed the way of doing business”. For this classification in at the top of the selection were the social and economic parameters, inspirations, inventions and performances of the group. That’s why Jobs stands at the top of this list, with his record contributions to Apple.

Among the great ones are Fed Ex’s Fed Smith. Larry Page and Sergey Brin of Google, Mark Zucerberg of Facebook, Muhammed Yunus, Sam Walton of Wal Mart, Herb Kelleher of Southwest Airlines, John Mackey of Whole Foods, and Howard Schultz of Starbucks.
