
These are the wintering waterfowl in Tirana Artificial Lake (AOS)
For the convenience of all readers, AOS offers the figures of the census of wintering waterfowl in the Artificial Lake of Tirana, undertaken on January 15, 2018.
Bajza (Fulica atra) – 499 individuals,
Credharake (T. ruficollis) – 37 individuals,
Pulujeza (G. chloropus) – 31 individuals,
Gill gills (P. nigricollis) – 2 individuals,)
Big carabulla (P. carbo) – 1 individual and
Little caracal (M. pygmeus) – 1 individual.
Unfortunately not even a duck although the number of waterfowl in the lake has increased.
Despite the lack of ducks, Lake Park is rich in other birds and valuable to the city. Let’s get used to watching it without disturbing it! / AOS-Albanian Ornithological Society
